Tryouts Completed

The 2017 Riverside Bantam Major group will be coached and mentored again by a non-parent quality staff. All staff have either coached or played at the AAA level or higher and know the commitment and dedication needed to be successful on and off the field. The balance, motivation and passion of a Student- Athlete and multi-tasking needed to commit at high levels is one that will be developed and pressed upon.

Our motto for 2017 is to prioritize Family, School and Sport in that order, to create the true community student athletic team player, and develop their play at the highest level. Our season will consist of approximately 40-45 games with just as many practices. The team will play tournaments and exhibition games in Ontario and parts of the United States. The 2017 Bantam Major team will also play in the Bantam Major Provincial AAA Elimination Tournament during the Civic Holiday weekend.

Riverside Bantam Major AAA is interested in filling 2 roster spots for the 2017 baseball season. However, due to the incredible amount of rain in recent days, we have no time line for the remaining tryouts and any future workouts will take place indoors at Riverside Baseball Centre. Players interested in a tryout are asked to please sign up using the Riverside Travel Player Interest form located on the Riverside Baseball main website and a Bantam Major representative will be in contact with you.

Any questions regarding tryouts or the 2017 baseball season should be directed to Bantam Major Manager Rick Prior
